On behalf of the members from our Branch I want to congratulate ALL the hard working volunteers from our wonderful community for making this year’s Country Fair a huge success. Everyone we came across was happy and friendly. As the Peats Ridge & District branch have worked tirelessly, since the Country Fair commenced, we have done our utmost to please and accommodate everyone we come in contact with.
Without volunteers nothing gets done and when it comes for the community CWA are always there.
And now for my report: On Monday 21st October we held our AGM and there are a few position changes. Our new President is Donna who has the Cookery position as well. Julianne is our new Secretary. Kaye is the Minutes Secretary as well as the Ag & Environment Officer.
Our Branch Patron, Miranda, is also our VP and the Handicraft Officer. Margaret is our International officer and carries this out with a passion. This year’s Country of study is the Republic of Korea. Margie has also a passion as the Culture Officer.
I remain the Treasurer and Publicity officer.
We are 9 happy members and 4 juniors as well. Our Branch continues with great enthusiasm and with CWA sisterhood. We meet the 3rd Monday of the month at the Community Hall at Peats Ridge Public School.
