Mangrove Mountain Country Fair – Competition Schedule

The full competition schedule for the Mangrove Mountain Country Fair includes sections for Adults (16 years and over) and Children (15 years and younger). Adult sections include: Section A – Art (painting, drawing, collage, photography, digital imagery, sculpture/ceramics), Section B – Craft (patchwork, lace, quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, toys, macrame, woodwork, metalwork, pottery/glass, recycled materials article, Halloween themed article), Section C – Cooking, Jams & Preserves (man cake, slices, muffins/cupcakes, biscuits, scones, other cake, cooking for special diet, orange cake iced, bread, Halloween themed baked item, marmalade, jams/jellies, lemon/passionfruit butter, pickles/relish/chutney, sauces, preserved fruit or vegetables), Section D – Flowers (arrangements in various styles, native flowers, wildflowers, rose), Section E – Photography (people/portraits, life on the mountain, landscape/weather, animals, flowers, fun, action/sport, travel/urban), Section F – Produce (citrus, stonefruit, nuts/berry fruits, other fruit, basket of salad greens, herbs, homemade beverages, honey, fresh eggs, basket of combination produce). Children sections include: Section G – Art, Section H – Craft, Section I – Cooking, Section J – Invention/Creation, Section K – Flowers, Section L – Photography, Section M – Produce. The 16th Annual Mangrove Mountain Contemporary Art Award theme for 2025 is ‘Kintsugi’. Helen FitzSimons Memorial Family Aggregate Award is also available. General Rules of Show apply. Entries accepted from 3pm till 6pm Thursday 16th October. Art & Photography entries close 1pm Friday 17th October. All other entries close 3pm Friday 17th October. All entries are free.
