On Sunday 14th June at 8.23pm the sign outside the Mangrove Mountain Union Church was demolished by an out-of-control vehicle.
The vehicle, travelling south on Wisemans Ferry Road, left the road and mounted the shoulder, somehow traversing the deep drain. It then took out the traffic hazard chevron sign before smashing through the church sign. The vehicle then continued back onto Wisemans Ferry Road and left the scene.
Hopefully all occupants of the vehicle are OK. We do have the items that fell off the vehicle if they need them back. We would appreciate the driver including the sign damage in their insurance claim.
