Time for an election? Also time for Promises, Promises and more Promises.
Where are we up to with internet and mobile phone services? In the lead up to the last Federal election we were graced by visits from representatives of both major parties.
Concerned and interested community members attended meetings and were promised improved internet and phone services but it seems that progress has been awfully slow.
Undoubtedly, any complaints or requests for improvements that are made now will be addressed by more confident promises!!
Thankfully we have the option of relying on the forward thinking and expeditious actions of our friend Mr Musk and his overseas based corporation to get internet & VOIP telephony, although this comes at a higher price compared to the services available in larger cities and some regional centres.
