What a fantastic turn out at the 2025 Mangrove Mountain Country Fair. The Peats Ridge Scout Group along with youth and leaders from Kariong and Ourimbah attended the fair on the 18th October.
During preparations for the fair the leaders, adult helpers and youth had fun testing their temporary fencing skills, stage preparation and overnight security skills.
The Scouts ran the very successful and popular Witch’s Kitchen and added a ‘build your own’ herb or flower planter box activity. The Scouts had a great time helping participants use hand and power tools to create the boxes. We once again enjoyed catching up with friends, family and members of our community.

Open Day: 10am – 2pm at the Peats Ridge Scout Hall on George Downs Drive at Central Mangrove. We will be showcasing some fun activities such as milk crate stacking, and sock wrestling to name a few. Come along, meet our leaders, youth members, and parent helpers to see what we get up to at Scouts. Stop in for a free sausage sizzle. We look forward to meeting you!
