Mountain Community Children’s Centre News

The children have been very busy at the centre over the past few months. We have celebrated Naidoc Week with a visit from Tim from Girri Girra. He shared his knowledge with the children. We have also been enjoying bush walks and being outdoors whenever we can despite the wet weather. The snake room children have been enjoying the tapping sticks as a music experience during the day. They have been learning about rhythm, movement, tempo, beat as well as listening and following directions. Part Time Early Childhood Educator Position: We are currently looking for another educator to join our team here at Mountain Community Children’s Centre. The position is for an educator with a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
