There is some very exciting news for Peats Ridge Public School and our wider community. From Term 4, our students will have access to a before and after school care service, thanks to a new partnership with Mountain Before & After School Care.
For a small rural school like Peats Ridge, access to before and after school care is much more than an additional service. It provides families with greater flexibility and makes our wonderful little school a more accessible option for working parents and families who may previously have found school hours difficult to manage.
Mountain Before & After School Care has organised a bus service to collect Peats Ridge Public School students, meaning our children can now access their established service while continuing to enjoy all the benefits of attending their local small school.
This is something our community has wanted for a long time, so we are absolutely thrilled to finally see it become a reality. It is another important step in continuing to grow and strengthen Peats Ridge Public School while responding to the changing needs of local families.
We are incredibly proud of our small school, where students are known, valued and provided with opportunities to thrive. The introduction of before and after school care gives families even more choice and removes a significant barrier for those considering Peats Ridge Public School.
