Students at Central Mangrove Public School have been busy with some awesome STEM projects this term! In the senior class, we learned all about world cultures by making cool 3D models of the Earth’s two hemispheres. We discovered the continents, oceans, and famous landmarks around the world.
Next, we got to explore different countries like Nepal, Brazil, New Zealand, Siberia, Egypt, and Australia. We learned about the kinds of shelters people live in and made our own little models using things like timber, cardboard, tape, glue, foil, and paper.
To share what we learned, we created QR codes for our parents and carers to scan. These codes link to special infographics that show our research, made with Canva.
We’ve had so much fun learning with STEM this term!
