Genevieve Muir is the final Community Champion I will recognise during my time as Mayor.
Genevieve is the driving force behind The Kindness Pantry, a free weatherproof, freestanding community pantry providing food and everyday essentials to those in need.
Operated in partnership with Vinnies Vans and supported by residents, businesses and corporate partners, the pantry is stocked through community generosity and features artwork by Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a Community Champion, and to those who received an award.
Let us continue to celebrate and acknowledge the quiet achievers, dedicated volunteers and everyday heroes whose generosity, compassion and unwavering commitment make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Mayor Lawrie McKinna, Central Coast Council
