These robotics are on loan from the NSW Department of Education’s eT4L program.
Microbits: Microbits, small pocket-sized computers that bring coding and hardware interaction to life, have also captured students’ imaginations. Featuring LED lights, buttons, sensors, and Bluetooth, Microbits allow learners to create everything from robots to games and musical instruments.
SPIKE Lego Robotics: SPIKE Lego Robotics combines the creativity of Lego building with powerful coding tools. Students build robots using colourful Lego pieces and program them using a simple, icon-based coding language, which helps develop engineering skills, logical thinking, and teamwork.
Makey Makeys: Makey Makey is an inventive invention kit that turns everyday objects — like fruits or drawings — into touchpads and controllers. By connecting these objects to a computer, students can create unique interactive projects, blending creativity with basic electronics and programming.
