Discover how to become a volunteer at our Riding for the Disabled Central Coast Centre Volunteer Information Morning on Saturday 28 February 2026 from 10am-12pm.

We have been providing riding classes to disabled children on the Central Coast for over 45 years and need more volunteers for this valuable work.

No previous experience of working with horses or disabilities is required as you will be trained and supported to confidently undertake your role. There are various roles available including support of our riders and horses, admin tasks and the maintenance of paddocks, gardens and buildings.

We only operate in school terms (Monday to Wednesdays from 9am to 3pm and Friday mornings 9am-12). Your volunteering hours can be arranged to suit your requirements.

Directions: Turn off Central Coast Highway into Kangoo Rd, Somersby (at Worthington BMW) and follow Kangoo Rd for 1.3km then turn right into Frank Rd. You will see the RDA sign on the left. Easiest parking is in Kangoo Road (or in the paddock on the right as you turn into Frank Road).
