Sport Grants Keep Grassroots Growing

Sporting organisations in the Gosford electorate can share in up to $50,000 set aside for the region under the NSW Government’s $4.65 million Local Sport Grant Program. Last year, local recipients such as Gosford Kariong Storm Rugby League Football Club received $5056 through the program, which provides grants for facility upgrades, new equipment and programs that support and encourage participation and active recreation. Member for Gosford, Liesl Tesch MP said that this program was all about ensuring that local sports groups can grow and thrive.
