The Central Coast heat of the Australian Nation Busking Championships 2025 will be held on Sunday 28 September 2025 at The Entrance in Memorial Park from 10am to 2pm with a concert of finalists being held at 3.30pm. We will have Coast FM broadcasting onsite throughout the day. The Australian National Busking Championships (ANBC) is an Australia-wide network of busking festivals. This annual event celebrates the rich diversity of Australian Music and Street Performance Culture. It was first held in Cooma in 2012 and is now held in 7 locations around the country, culminating in the national finals in Cooma each year in November. We have had Central Coast winners become the National winners in their categories each year the event has been held. The Rotary Club of Erina hosts the Central Coast heat, being held at Memorial Park and welcome a range of performers to showcase their talents and their street performing skills. Rotary are raising funds for Central Coast families that have experienced Domestic Family Violence through selling $1 busker tokens which can be used as a ‘vote’ for your favorite busker on the day. The busker with the most tokens will be presented with the People’s Choice Award and a prize of $750. Prizes totalling $5000 are sponsored by local Bendigo Banks. Come along and join in the fun or register online www.eventbrite.com. If you would like to assist or want to find out more about Rotary, email us at [email protected]
