The Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation has been tasked with this project by the NSW Government, and we’d like to hear your thoughts on what enhancements could be delivered. Your ideas and feedback will help us determine public domain improvements that can be made in the short term, and also prepare a public domain plan for the future of the precinct. We want to understand what features would make the Gosford waterfront a more attractive place to visit in the future, and most importantly, what would you like to see delivered first? This could include things like easier access to the water, more seating or shade, shared pathways, improved lighting or play equipment. Please complete this short survey to help determine key priorities for this area. The Gosford waterfront project is a NSW Government election commitment assigned to HCCDC in mid-2024. HCCDC is taking steps to revitalise the Gosford Waterfront by enhancing public space and improving connectivity while providing opportunities for future investment. We have completed studies and investigations to inform our planning and are currently working with key stakeholders including Central Coast Council on a new public domain plan for the waterfront. Movement and usage surveys were conducted throughout January and February 2025 using sensors to measure pedestrian, cyclist and car parking activity along Gosford waterfront. The sensors tracked movement only, and did not record any information that would allow individuals or their vehicles to be identified. HCCDC will use this data to inform design and planning works.
