Navigating life after school can be daunting for any young person, but for students with disability or diverse support needs, the journey comes with added complexity, and just as many opportunities. The Future Choices Transition Expo is here to support and empower that journey. Held annually in the Hunter and Central Coast, these free expos are the only events of their kind in the region, bringing together over 120 exhibitors, interactive workshops, and live entertainment to help young people and their families explore the pathways ahead. The Central Coast Expo will be held on Thursday 28 August 2025, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi. Presented by Career Links, a not-for-profit organisation that supports young people as they transition from school to further education and employment, in collaboration with the National Disability Coordination Officer Program and the NSW Department of Education Support Teachers. The events attract exhibitors from a range of organisations including disability service providers, universities, TAFE colleges, registered training providers, employers, employment services, government agencies, advocacy groups, and assistive technology suppliers. A major highlight in 2025 is the Financial Literacy and Life Skills Workshop Series. The Future Choices Expo is fully accessible and designed with diverse needs in mind.
