Need to be local community minded manned by people with humility, common sense compassion and a desire to support their fellow humans. NO DRUGS.
We need to get back to basics. Forget rules, need for a control body or a boss. Start like our pioneers set up Australian society with a need to survive and a desire to help his fellow man with a background of dreadful cruelty, snobbery and deprivation.
Start with a reasonably level site. A group of basic site modules — Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, one with beds, lounge/social area. TV, books, lounge, cards talk space. Like the mines, main roads even our Sydney games used them. A basic unit to house on site volunteer able bodied manager. We’ll need tanks for water, council co-operation for garbage and toilet back up.
Also a place to grow things — Veg and Flowers.
A desire. Fundraising and help each other out of compassion and need.
Wants are secondary. Let’s face it — cash is scarce from grants and the hard work has been basically achieved by our pioneers.
Times are hard, infrastructure not adequate and wants/demands out of control with compassion and desire to help themselves on the ground in 2025.
